According to IDES or The Illinois Department of Employment Services, LPN (Licensed Practical Nursing) jobs are projected to grow at 20 percent to the year 2016! Professional nurses are retiring at a fast pace and the aging population is exploding.
You can fast-track your nursing career with LPN certification from an approved Illinois nursing program. You must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or G.E.D. to make application. The nursing school course will take you approximately 12 months to complete and then you can sit for NCLEX-PN (nursing license exam).
